Banode is the name of the company that was created for an upcoming technology / business that does not exist yet, potassium ion energy. I worked with two others to create an identity from scratch, creating a brandmark, mission, and advertising. The logo utilizes a contemporary look to make it easily recognizable and inviting to those who may be unfamiliar with the company.

Research and Analysis

Since there is a wide base of users for technology and energy, most companies are using a brandmark that is minimalistic and refers a topic in science. Cultural references are often avoided as they may alienate a group.

Conclusion

Just because an idea seems weird, does not mean it is not going to work. It pays to take risks and try something different.
