Wildlife and Biological Resources Coalition
BRANDING / IDENTITY
The Wildlife and Biological Resources Coalition (WBRC) is a group of stakeholders involved in oil and gas in Colorado, overseeing changes to the industry based on the on the Colorado Law SB-19-181.
The WBRC group has interests in environmental protection and representatives for oil and gas interests. My main goal while branding for the WBRC was to create a forward thinking brand that did not alienate or focus on any individual interest, but on the group as a whole.

Research and Analysis
I took the time to learn about the legislature and rules being implemented, as well as got a hold of their first meetings notes. It was important for the WBRC to know who their potential audiences might be and how similar groups are branding themselves, to be able to better engage with and keep interests in line with the public’s.

Conclusion
The best way to design for a group that has opposing opinions is to focus on what they have in common. Understanding and connections can be made from the smallest commonalities.
